Jamie (5yrs) and Ava (2yrs)

Im not going to lie my blog has been horribly neglected of late, I dont know here the year is going?!?!?
Anyhow this is a portrait session I did with my friends two beautiful kiddies.  Ava is turning into a proper little model...those eyes make me weak at the knees:) and Jamie was keen to show me his best smile and was a brilliant help at getting his sister involved...even reading her a story at one point, (cute eh?!)

Thankyou Claire, Ava and Jamie xxx

Logan (8wks) & Rhys (6wks)

This month I was delighted to meet Logan and then Rhys for their baby sessions...and they were both a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.
Logan was so laid back that after a few awake shots, he drank a quick bottle and drifted off into a deep sleep, allowing us to shape him into some really cute poses.  His sister Katie (who is also as gorgeous) was on hand to get a few sibling shots that really made me smile when editing!
Rhys was absolutely picture perfect during his session,  He was not keen to have a snooze and preferred to see what was going on around him but that was more than ok by me because I could've looked into those beautiful eyes all day long and it let me get some awake shots with expressions on his face that would melt your heart!!
Thank you Debbie, Diane (and granny Allison!) Was great to meet you. xx

Keira and her little cousin Daisy Doo

I loved this session with Keira and Daisy!!  I've had this vintage set up in my head for a while now so it was great to get a chance to use it. I explained to the girls mummys what I had in mind and they dressed them perfectly...also my obsession with Fimbly headbands continues!  I could've spent all day photographing both keira Lou and Daisy Doo, they really are a treat.
Thanks Daisy, Keira, Kerry and Karren xxx

Jack (19 wks)

The rains back on so today was an inside session,  But it didn't matter because I loved taking Jacks pictures!!  he smiled right the way throughout and made himself very comfortable in every pose we put him in.  I l.o.v.e this baby stage, Jack likes to be carried facing forward so he can see everything that's going on and fits perfectly in his mummy and daddy's arms....Can you tell I miss my Louis being that little?! but its ok because Jacks mummy says I can borrow him every so often to get my fix:)
Thank you Jack, Lorraine and Cotter xxx

Alix (8yrs)

I've been neglecting my camera recently so I was extra pleased to see Alix who always does a great job modelling for me!!  I'm really going to focus on building my porfolio over the next few months and finishing off my marketing set (which has been on my to do list for a while now) so I can start advertising more.  Im also really looking forward to an education session with Elizabeth Halford Photography down at Whitby in August, which was a birthday treat from my dear boyfriend...Love you Daniel:)....So overall lots to look forward to:)

Thanks Kerry @ Lotus Petal for the flowers!
Check out their FB page.  Kerry is a very talented lady.

Lauren (15 months)

Niece
I couldn’t love you more if you were
my own,
I’ll never forget the day you were born.
I share your triumphs, your joy,
your pain.
I’ll be beside you every step of the way.
Watching you grow over the years,
has been a gift I hold so dear.
Always remember I’m here for you,
in all that you become and do.

Bridgets Big Day.....

When Bridget phoned and asked if I'd be the photographer on her big day I jumped at the chance.  Bridget looked beautiful and everybody had a great time.
Congratulations Bridget and Kenny!!

Heres Bridget (looking very calm and relaxed!) before her grandson walked her down the isle.

A Personal Project...

Recently I've taken up a more personal project which is different from my usual style but something I enjoy doing none the less.  Self portraits are a great way of learning and developing when you run out of models.  I've also come to the conclusion that in order to help my models relax in front of the camera I need to be able to do it myself!!  These are all ideas that I hope to use through out my college course which will be starting after the summer.
