I've been neglecting my camera recently so I was extra pleased to see Alix who always does a great job modelling for me!! I'm really going to focus on building my porfolio over the next few months and finishing off my marketing set (which has been on my to do list for a while now) so I can start advertising more. Im also really looking forward to an education session with Elizabeth Halford Photography down at Whitby in August, which was a birthday treat from my dear boyfriend...Love you Daniel:)....So overall lots to look forward to:)
Alix (8yrs)
Lauren (15 months)
my own,
I’ll never forget the day you were born.
I share your triumphs, your joy,
your pain.
I’ll be beside you every step of the way.
Watching you grow over the years,
has been a gift I hold so dear.
Always remember I’m here for you,
in all that you become and do.
Bridgets Big Day.....
When Bridget phoned and asked if I'd be the photographer on her big day I jumped at the chance. Bridget looked beautiful and everybody had a great time.
Congratulations Bridget and Kenny!!
Heres Bridget (looking very calm and relaxed!) before her grandson walked her down the isle.
A Personal Project...
Recently I've taken up a more personal project which is different from my usual style but something I enjoy doing none the less. Self portraits are a great way of learning and developing when you run out of models. I've also come to the conclusion that in order to help my models relax in front of the camera I need to be able to do it myself!! These are all ideas that I hope to use through out my college course which will be starting after the summer.
Me and My Multiple Personalities
Louis Noel
My son normally runs in the opposite direction when I take out my camera but he was a lot more obliging this time when I showed him the jar of marshmallows:) I cant believe how big he's getting....wheres my baby gone?! I love days like this when I get to capture his little personality on camera. This time of year is a great time to get some beautiful images outside. I plan to frame these and put them up in Louis bedroom. The bunting is by Linda at Fimbly. I L.O.V.E Linda's work. Its just as well Louis is a boy or I'd be there every week buying some of her beautiful girly head pieces:) Check out her fb page.
